British girl group Little Mix hit the road in May with concerts booked in Europe through mid-July, including headlining performances at 15 U.K. venues during the eight-week stretch.
Based on ticket sales reported during the past week by the London-based Solo Agency, the pop quartet's Glory Days Tour earned £9.3 million ($11.9 million USD) from U.K. shows alone, including three early September engagements that completed the summer run. The overall number of sold tickets during the trek totaled 270,495. With those box office counts, the group heads up the tally of the week’s highest-grossing Hot Tours (see list below).
Touring this year in support of its November 2016 release, Glory Days, Little Mix also included a six-city trek to Australia and New Zealand on the schedule during the last two weeks of July. So far only one of those dates has been reported to : a July 28 performance at Brisbane’s Entertainment Centre. The sold out concert in Brisbane drew a crowd of 7,403 and grossed $526,010.
